Villa Samadhi

Introduction:One of Kuala Lumpur’s best keptsecret! Hidden within an upscale neighbourhood and discreet from street view, Villa Samadhi feels more like one big private villa rather than a boutique hotel. The entire residence is designedto look and oriented to evoke, in all essence, your own private villa in the city. Its modern-Asian design and ambiance makes it a unique boutique residencein KL. Hence be it a holiday retreat for those from afar or just a special weekend getaway, a long-term or temporary stay for those on business, Villa Samadhiis the holiday home away from home.

Above information is how the hotel presents itself on their website.

Below is my experience based on a one-night stay at the property.

My Arrival experience: Warm welcome before being escorted to the room.

What I loved: The unique feeling of a resort within the city of Kuala Lumpur.

What about the food: Excellent food in their restaurant located in the city center. Good a la carte breakfast offered anytime of the day so don’t worry getting up in the morning after arriving with jetlag.

What about the service: Kind and helpful staff, although not as professional as in chain hotels.

What about the rooms: Unique design with huge bathtubs in many bathrooms, almost like a plunge pool. The bathrooms also have separate showers and organic products.

Number of rooms: 21.

Type of property: Resort in a city.

Location: Kuala Lumpur.

Facilities: Spa and swimming pool.

Complimentary internet: Yes, but slow in the rooms.

Affiliations: Mr. and Mrs. Smith.

My overall impression: Great+ experience.
