The Westin Cape Town

Condé Nast Traveller can be a good list to find great hotels around the world, but there are hotels that in my opinion shouldn’t be on the list. One of them is the Westin in Cape Town. The Westin was just around the same experience as the regular Westin’s around the world.

I checked in, and they told me they had upgraded me to a suite as Starwood Preferred Guest Platinum member, but there was no escort to the suite, and the personalised service was not there. I just felt like I was a number. The suite was nice with a modern design, but nothing special about it at all. The facilities were good, though, but in general, I will never understand how this list can be the 2nd best hotel in Cape Town according to Condé Nast Travellers Readers.

My opinion: Good experience.
