The Table Bay
The location is the best in Cape Town; it’s right on the V&A waterfront overlooking Table Mountain. The service is splendid, but with 329 rooms it’s hard to deliver the personalised service you find in smaller hotels. That said, I have to say all staff were well-trained and provided good service. The breakfast was fantastic with a large buffet and great á la carte dishes. The afternoon tea was one of the best I’ve had, and the dinner was superb. The restaurant manager Martin delivered service with incredible enthusiasm and professionalism; I wish all restaurant managers in world class hotels were like that. The gym is quite small for a 329 room hotel, but I they told me it’s never fully occupied so I guess it’s not a problem.
Overall a great and safe choice in Cape Town. As you can read on Tripadvisor, it’s a hotel for everyone. Highly recommended and deserves its place on the list of the best hotels.
My opinion: Great+ experience.
