The St. Regis Osaka

St. Regis is my favourite hotel brand and since I saw the first photos of this property I couldn’t wait to stay there. The hotel is even better than the photos. I had a nice check in where I was escorted to my Grand Deluxe Room. There is a butler to every guest, my butler was from Hong Kong and was very professional. The Grand Deluxe Room was brand new and had the latest technology, but like every other St. Regis it had those classical touches that make it a St. Regis.

The service was incredible all over the hotel. The English level of the staff exceeded my expectations, but furthermore, they were extremely friendly and professional. I had dinner at their French restaurant which was amazing, one of the best dining experiences I’ve had. Like in every other hotel, there are problems in the beginning. The breakfast buffet was a disappointment and must be improved. It was also the only place where service level wasn’t up to the rest of the hotel, but it’s a St. Regis hotel, and I’m sure they’ll fix these problems very soon.
The hotel is quite small with only 160 rooms, but in my opinion, it’s a great size for a city hotel. It is neither too big or too small. The fitness centre is brand new, a bit small, but top class and fully equipped.

Overall highly recommended. Don’t listen to the first average reviews of this hotel. In my opinion, it’s an amazing hotel. It’s a stunning property, and it has the potential to be one of the best city hotels in the world. In my opinion, it already is.
