Movenpick Resort and Spa Mauritius

Movenpick is a Swiss ice cream brand with a smaller selection of hotels. I decided to include Movenpick in my project because it was one of the most expensive hotels in Mauritius and because it had good reviews on the internet. I arrived in the resort which has a very beautiful front building. After a welcome drink, I was escorted to my room.

I stayed in a Junior Suite, and it was very nice and comfortable and even had a jacuzzi. The internet is only available in the lobby, but according to the hotel it’s not a problem for the guests as all of them is there to relax. The service was acceptable but very far from the service I expected in a property with rack rates close to 600 dollars for one night. Many people on the internet have been able to find good promotions rates which included half board, and people are happy with that. The dinner buffet was nothing special compared to the best hotels in the world, but it can surely fit the need of most people. Overall a choice many people like, but in my opinion, it depends on what rate you can find.
