Laluna Resort

Laluna is a member of Design Hotels and has some of the highest rates in Grenada. That combined with excellent Tripadvisor reviews and beautiful photos made me wanna check it out. I arrived in the resort and received a warm welcome before being escorted to a Cottage Deluxe Suite.

The suite had a unique design and a fantastic view of the Caribbean ocean. The bed was comfortable and the Tv was flatscreen. It was a suite with great attention to detail. Like you can take a shower and look at the ocean at the same time. A round swimmingpool on the balcony was another fantastic feature. I like to see new designs and features and Laluna was an inspiring experience.

The service level was great after Caribbean standards with very friendly staff. This is a member of Design Hotels, but Laluna could easily be a member of The Leading Hotels of the World in my opinion. The facilities was very good with a nice swimming pool, but if that isn’t enough there is a fantastic beach a few steps away.

Overall a fantastic Caribbean experience. A little jewel, but this is The Caribbean and service can’t compete with Asian hospitality. That is the reason I won’t place it among the best resorts in the world, but one of the best in The Caribbean for sure.
