After a good experience with Kempinski’s Soma Bay resort I was excited to see the quality of their Cairo property which has an impressive 5/5 score on Tripadvisor’s guest satisfactions system.
The hotel is an old government hotel that had been empty for 15 years before Kempinski totally refurbished it and renamed it Kempinski Nile Hotel Cairo.
he beautiful location near the nile makes it worth to book a room with a view. My room didn’t have that, but was a great standard room with very comfortable bed, complimentary high speed internet and complimentary movies which other hotels charges 8-10 dollars for per movie.
The hotel has 191 rooms and is run like a great business hotel that works. The service level exceeded my expectations with great staff and attentive service in all areas. Including the restaurants where I had a truly great breakfast which was a big plus in my short stay.
There isn’t much more to add about this hotel, other than it’s a very safe choice in Cairo. Almost at Four Seasons level and as the rates are lower this is definitely better value for money, but it depends if money is an object or not.
My opinion: Great experience.
