InterContinental Warsaw

Finding the best hotel in Warsaw is not easy. There isn’t any truly great hotel and it came down to a choice between La Regina and InterContinental so I decied to try them both. I arrived in the airport and was picked up by InterContinental’s own Mercedes which had a nice detail. a InterContinental logo on the top of the car where taxis normally have their logo. The check in was very nice with a very friendly receptionist which informed me of an upgrade to senior suite. The suite had a great contemporary design like the usual InterContinental, comfortable bed, great welcome amenities and separate shower from bath tub. The internet is chargeable, but very fast. The facilities was very good with a really nice gym. The breakfast had a large buffet, but with 100s of people and no ala carte menu. As you would expect in a room with this amount of rooms.

Overall probably the best place to stay in Warsaw, but with over 400 rooms you’re not a guest, but a number. The staff and rooms is great, but nothing is personalized and there is simply to many guests after my taste. I did expect that and it lived fully up to my expectations and is recommended.

My opinion: Good experience.
