Il San Pietro di Positano
The welcome was very nice and I was escorted to the room after a short registration. San Pietro di Positano has 58 rooms and while it’s one of the bigger Relais&Chateaux’s it fully met the 5C’S of the organization.
I stayed in a junior suite and it had a typical Southen Italy architecture. Many people love it, but I’m not personally a big fan of it. Some people have wrote San Pietro is dated and I will have to agree. A renovation could be needed soon. The room had an amazing view and that’s what I will remember most about it.
What makes San Pietro di Positano one of the best hotels in all lists of the worlds best is the service, location and food and I have to agree.
Their 1-star Michelin restaurant was a really great experience. It’s unusual to have a Michelin star when having a big restaurant, but San Pietro must have impressed the Michelin inspectors as much as me.
Overall a great property. I’m not a fan of the design, but the service and food is of high standards and the location is incredible.
My opinion: Great experience.
