Hotel Telegraaf

Before going to Tallinn, I knew there were three hotels much better than the rest. The newest of those is Small Luxury Hotels of the World-member Hotel Telegraaf. Besides being the newest, it’s also the cheapest and biggest of the top 3 hotels. Hotel Schlössle is a Small Leading Hotel of the World and Three Sisters is a member of Design Hotels.

I arrived in Telegraaf with taxi from the airport and was happy to be upgraded to their Alexander Graham Bell Suite. The check in went easy, but there was no escort to the suite, which I always prefer. I hadn’t checked their suites on the internet before I arrived so I didn’t know what to expect, but what a surprise. The suite was gorgeous and special designed. Separate living room and bedroom and a specially designed bathroom. Lovely. The service in this hotel is extremely helpful, but of course not comparable with the best hotels worldwide. I had dinner in their restaurant Tchaikovsky, and it was amazing. One of the best food experiences I’ve had so far. The food tasted superb, and the service was excellent.

Compared with their competitors Hotel Telegraaf is the only hotel to offer a swimming pool, which is extremely nice. Furthermore, there is a different kind of saunas, so this hotel is a place for both business and leisure.

Overall a fantastic hotel experience. I was surprised to find this hotel level in Estonia. It’s probably the best value in Europe and is close to the best European hotel experiences. Make sure to visit their restaurant. Everything’s highly recommended in this hotel.

My opinion: Great experience.
