Location: Copenhagen, Denmark.
My Experience: Wonderful to be back at Hotel D’Angleterre Copenhagen I stayed here for the first time in 2009, and after an impressive two-year, $20 million renovation the hotel is now back where it belongs. Among the best historical city hotels in Europe.
Here are some of the things I loved:
-Warm welcome. The receptionist escorted me to the room.
-A bottle of organic juice in the room upon arrival.
-The hotel is smoke-free.
-Organic chocolates for turn down service.
-Fantastic, soft and comfortable bed.
-Some of the rooms have a balcony with beautiful views of the city.
-Rainshower with great water pressure.
-Bang & Olufson’s TVs.
-Super fast WiFi. More than 60 Megabytes per second in both upload and download.
-The location, right in the centre of Copenhagen
-The history dated back to 1755.
-The staff are well-trained and friendly.
-Their renovated spa, Amazing Space. Yearly memberships are available and something I would love if I lived in Copenhagen.
-They have a Michelin-starred restaurant which I hope to experience in the future.
Duration of Stay/Visit: One night.
My Opinion: Great+ experience. Much improved since my stay in 2009 and now one of my favourite city hotels in Europe.
