Grand Hotel Wien

Leading Hotels of the World is a selection of high-quality hotels around the world. Perfectly located right in the city centre Grand Hotel Wien was my first choice in Vienna, everything in my research told me this could be a great hotel. After my stay here I can honestly say it’s exactly what it is. Great. It all started when I arrived, and the bellboy asked if he could assist me with the luggage. The check in staff was extremely professional, and I was asked if I wanted an escort to the room. I said yes as I see it as an important part of the service.

The receptionist was very professional and on the way to the room, he told me he was from Germany where he used to work in Regent Berlin. He told me I was upgraded to an Executive Room, and it was top class and much better than the standard rooms I’ve seen on their website. 45 square metres in a beautiful classical design. The wireless internet is complimentary, and if you don’t have a computer, it’s free in the business centre as well. The facilities is great, as I just mentioned the business centre is free and so is the 24-hour Health Club. The breakfast was great with a large selection of food and with great service. The service level is very good and professional at this hotel and makes my score this high. Close to the best hotels in the world and highly recommended.
