Fairmont Royal Pavillion
I arrived in Fairmont Royal Pavillion after a nice experience in Cobblers Cove which is located 5 miles away on the same street. A welcome drink was served before I was escorted to the room. The one checking me in wasn’t very enthusiastic as one should be. Especially in a small hotel where you don’t check in a lot of people on daily basis.
I stayed in a beachfront junior suite which was recently renovated. What I liked most about the suite was the sea view and the beach right in front of it. The design was comparable to a Four Seasons, but the bed was far from Four Seasons standard and not very comfortable. The room also had a 42 inch flat screen Tv and nice artwork.
With only 72 rooms I had high expectations for the personalized service. I already knew the service level in The Caribbean isn’t very good because of their mentality, but by their standards I expected a great experience. I got what I expected. Friendly, well trained staff made a difference. The facilities were acceptable, but could need an update.
Overall the best of my experiences in Barbados and highly recommended.
My opinion: Great experience.
