Château Cordeillan-Bages

Location: Pauillac, North of Bordeaux, France.

Notes About My Experience:

• A warm welcome followed by a site inspection of this beautiful property.

• Homely feel at the public areas. Very clean. 28 rooms total. I stayed on a weekday and it felt like I was the only guest at times.

• I stayed in a contemporary room with a rain shower, comfortable bed, and complimentary internet. I liked the room

• Their restaurant was closed on the day I was staying, but I instead had a good meal at Café Lavinal with a nice atmosphere and beautiful design.

• The service is very friendly with the excellent staff.

• The location is very safe and quiet. The area has a lot to offer. I can highly recommend driving around and see some of the many beautiful castles. A great place to stay for both short term and long term as it could be your base for exploring the region. The stay ended with a breakfast next to the vineyards.

Duration of Stay/Visit: One night.
