Constance Halaveli opened in 2009 and immediately received attention from Condé Nast Traveller, that included the property in their Hot List, as one of the best new properties in the world.
There are 86 villas total at Constance Halaveli and I was staying in one of their excellent Water Villas. A comfortable bed, private plunge pool, freestanding bathtub and a separate rainshower. As the IT-Manager told me Halaveli is the most high tech resort in The Maldives with 3D Tv, surroundsound system and complimentary in-build movies. Furthermore, the internet is high speed by Maldivian standards.
Facilities included a pool, three restaurants, bar, fitness center, tennis court and a beautiful spa. The food at Halaveli had a high quality and is a high priority for the resort. It is also interesting to note Constance’s Le Prince Maurice and Lemuria properties are members of the prestigious Relais & Châteaux organization, where food is the main focus.
The service at Constance Halaveli was very impressive where especially the many foreign staff makes a difference. A warm welcome and farewell is guaranteed, but I experienced very attentive service through my stay. I therefore have decided to rank Constance Halaveli as a fantastic experience as I consider it one of the best in The Maldives and surely the perfect choice for families.
My opinion: Fantastic experience.
