An Evening at Atelier de Joël Robuchon

Introduction: A cool, contemporary central London luxury hotel, Metropolitan by COMO combines accurate service, sophisticated design and a vibrant Park Lane location. There are 144 rooms and suites as well as 19 long-stay apartments, Nobu for Japanese-Peruvian cuisine, a lively Met Bar and Asian-inspired therapies from COMO Shambhala Urban Escape.

Above information is how the hotel presents itself on their website.

Below is my experience based on a one-night stay at the property.

My arrival experience: Warm welcome by the friendly staff before being escorted to the room.
What I loved: The beautiful and minimalistic design.
What about the food: Very good a la carte breakfast with great personalized service.
What about the service: Professional service from the well-trained staff in all areas of the hotel.
What about the rooms: Lovely minimalistic rooms in line with COMO’s standards and latest technology. The hotel is unfortunately not smoke-free, but besides this there wasn’t much to fault. I stayed in a junior suite with a comfortable bed, rain shower in the bathtub, a very large Tv and COMO’s unique bath amenities.
Number of rooms: 144.
Type of property: City hotel.
Location: London, United Kingdom.
Facilities: Spa, gym, swimming pool and business/meeting facilities.
Complimentary internet: Yes and very fast.

My overall impression: Great experience.
