Above information is how the hotel presents itself on their website.

Below is my experience based on a one-night stay at the property.

My arrival experience: Warm welcome with a cold drink and exotic lemongrass drink before being escorted to the room.

What I loved: Their Italian restaurant, Bellini.

What about the food: I checked out very early in the morning and can’t comment on the breakfast, but their Italian restaurant, Bellini is one of the best in any Asian resort I’ve stayed. I enjoyed a great pizza with Italian ingredients. The service was attentive and quick.

What about the service: Mostly good. Some staff could need more training, but overall good and satisfied keeping the low summer rates in mind.

What about the rooms: This is the downside. The standard rooms are a bit too basic, despite having updated them a bit, like replacing the Tv’s in recent years. The flatscreen Tv’s and separate jacuzzi tubs are nice, but there are no rainshower, unimpressive products, and with an overall quite basic feel. This is from someone that has stayed in 1,000+ luxury hotels, but if you only travel once a year and rarely stay in luxury hotels, you will most probably be very satisfied.

Number of rooms: 57.

Type of property: Resort.

Location: Krabi, Thailand.

Facilities: Spa, gym and swimming pool. All guest receive 15-minutes complimentary head and shoulder massage.

Complimentary internet: Yes, but around 1 MB/S isn’t much and also experienced a few connection problems.

My overall impression: Good+ experience. I liked this resort and was very impressed with their Italian restaurant. The rooms, the beach and smoking allowed on the balcony are the downsides. I would still give it good+ as the resort is up to good standard with a nice spa, great staff, a high priority on good and great value for money in the summer.
